What I’m Reading

I enjoy reading almost as much as I enjoying sharing what I read with others. I am just sorry that I waited so long in life to become a steady reader. Reading gives me the opportunity to be mentored by some of the greatest leaders and thinkers in the world without ever having met them. It makes my world bigger and helps me grow closer to God. My passion for sharing what I discover through reading has lead many of my friends to encourage me to find a way to share this joy in a more public way. That is one of the reasons why I am going to start posting what I’m reading more regularly on my blog and keep a list here. Let me know if you see a book you think you may be interested in reading. I’d love to discuss it with you. I may even be able to get you that book for free! Also, checking out these books is a way you can help support this blog. That’s right you don’t even have to buy. Soul Survivor

If you are interested in learning more about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr then I recommend checking out Soul Survivor by Philip Yancey. The first mentor he covers is MLK and the insights are life changing. This book has shaped much of my worldview and is an important one to pick up if you have ever experience church hurt or unfair treatment.
